One lucky golfer could walk off with $1 million at the 18th annual William Jessup University Warrior Golf Classic April 15 at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln.

The four finalists of the $1 Million shootout, which is sponsored by Halldin Public Relations in Rocklin, will launch one shot at the scenic 18th hole at Catta Verdera Country Club. If the fairway shot, from at least 165 yards, lands in the hole, the golfer will win $1 million.*

The Shootout is a fundraiser for the Jessup Athletic Association and The First Tee of Greater Sacramento. All proceeds go to support both nonprofit organizations.

Initial qualifying for the Shootout takes place from April 1 through April 10 at Haggin Oaks Golf Course. Weekday qualifying times are 4-7 p.m. and weekends are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contestants must be 12 or older and shots must be witnessed by authorized personnel.

Cost to participate is $10 per ticket for five tee shots on the designated par 3 at Haggin Oaks. The two closest-to-the-hole that day are invited back for a semifinal round April 10 – golf professionals are eligible to participate.

The top four finalists receive: free entry into the Warrior Golf Classic; one raffle entry; Shootout chance for $1million that day.
