Oak Ridge had 19 student-athletes sign letters of intent on National Signing Day on Wednesday, as they solidified their plans to continue their academic and athletic careers next year in college.
Five softball players, four swimmers, and two student-athletes on the volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, and baseball teams, as well as the Sacramento State Capital Crew rowing team also signed.
After an introductory comment from Oak Ridge Athletic Director Steve White, each athlete introduced themselves, said why they chose the school they will be attending and thanked all those who have helped them along the way.
The following is a list of the sports, the athletes who signed letters of intent and the school they will be attending next fall.
Softball: Skylar Linnane and Reagan Hunt, Sonoma State; Leah Polson, UC Davis, Hannah Dardano, Washington, Kaylin Pebley, Simpson.
Swimming: Cassidy Jones, Idaho, Emma Mehl, Wyoming, Colby Mefford, Cal, Jonathan Chu, Occidental.
Volleyball: Gracie Rowland, Concordia, Natalia Andrus, Utah Valley.
Lacrosse: Ryan Rogers, Utah, Zachary Russell, Air Force.
Soccer: Dominick Paielli, Loyola Marymount, Alexa Myers, Lewis & Clark.
Baseball: Peter Hansen, Texas, Jackson Slaughter, Louisiana Tech.
Rowing: Carina Baxter, Washington, Sophia Burrows, Loyola Marymount.
